Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 August 2026

1. Overview

Thought Labs, including its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Thought Labs”, “we”, “us” or “our”), provides the information, content, programmes and services contained on this website and any of the pages comprising it (the “Website”) to visitors, members and participants (“you” or “your”) subject to the terms and conditions set out below, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, EULA and any other terms, policies or notices applicable to a specific section, programme or service.

If you continue to browse and use this Website, or enrol in any Thought Labs programme, event or membership, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

The term ‘Thought Labs’ refers to the owner of this website, whose registered/operational office is 501, Brindavan Apartments, Hosur Road, Adugodi, Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka 560030, India. Thought Labs is also the parent organisation behind the Global NLP Summit.

2. What we offer

Thought Labs provides:

  • – Online and in-person NLP training and certification programmes
  • – Residential immersives and retreats, including in India, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and other locations
  • – Masterclasses, workshops and live online sessions
  • – A paid membership and community platform, including recorded and downloadable content
  • – One-to-one coaching and mentoring
  • – Consulting, training and facilitation for organisations

Different services carry different terms. Where a specific programme, retreat or membership has its own terms — set out on its enrolment page, in your booking confirmation, or in a separate agreement — those specific terms apply alongside these, and take precedence where there is a conflict.

3. Use of this Website

  • The content of the pages of this Website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.

  • Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this Website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  • Your use of any information or materials on this Website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It is your responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this Website meet your specific requirements.

  • This Website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance, graphics, text, audio, video and course materials. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice which forms part of these terms.

  • All trademarks reproduced on this Website which are not the property of, or licensed to, Thought Labs are acknowledged on the Website.
  • Unauthorised use of this Website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.

  • From time to time this Website may include links to other websites. These links are provided for your convenience and do not signify that we endorse the website or its content. We have no responsibility for the content of linked websites.
  • You may not create a link to this Website from another website or document without our prior written consent.

4. Accounts and membership

To access certain programmes, community areas or membership content, you need to create an account.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity that takes place under your account.

  • Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Sharing login credentials, or allowing another person to access paid content through your account, is a breach of these terms and may result in suspension or termination without refund.

  • You agree to provide accurate and current information when registering, and to keep it up to date.

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or enrol in a programme, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

  • We may suspend or terminate an account where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.

Subscriptions. Membership subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not refund the current period unless our Refund & Cancellation Policy provides otherwise. Access to member content ends when your paid period ends.

Changes to membership content.
We continue to develop the membership platform. Content, features, session schedules and community structures may change, be added to, or be withdrawn over time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes.

5. Enrolment, fees and payment

  • Fees for each programme, retreat, masterclass or membership tier are shown at the point of enrolment. Fees may be quoted in Indian Rupees, Swiss Francs, Pounds Sterling, US Dollars or other currencies depending on the programme.
  • Currency conversion rates, international transaction charges and bank fees are set by your card issuer or bank and are your responsibility.

  • Your place is confirmed once payment (or the agreed first instalment) has been received and we have issued a confirmation.

  • Where an instalment plan is offered, you remain liable for the full programme fee. Missed instalments may result in suspension of access until the account is brought up to date.

  • Any applicable taxes, including GST or VAT, are your responsibility unless stated otherwise.

  • We may change our fees at any time. Changes do not affect enrolments already confirmed.

As a merchant, we shall be under no liability whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly out of the decline of authorisation for any transaction, on account of the cardholder having exceeded the preset limit mutually agreed by us with our acquiring bank from time to time.

6. Refunds and cancellations

Refunds, transfers and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms. Please read it before enrolling.

Retreats and residential immersives carry their own cancellation terms, which are stricter than those for online programmes because we commit to venue, accommodation and logistics costs well in advance. These terms are set out on the relevant retreat page and in your booking confirmation.

7. Retreats, immersives and in-person events

These terms apply to any Thought Labs event you attend in person, including retreats in Goa, the Himalayas, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Dubai.

Travel, visas and insurance. You are responsible for arranging your own travel to and from the venue unless stated otherwise, and for obtaining any visas, permits or documentation required for entry. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, curtailment, medical treatment, emergency evacuation and personal belongings. For mountain and remote-location retreats, please ensure your policy covers the altitude and activities involved. We are not responsible for costs arising from denied entry, missed connections or travel disruption.

Health and fitness.
Some of our retreats take place at altitude, in remote locations, or involve walking, hiking and time outdoors. You must tell us at the point of booking about any physical or mental health condition, medication, allergy, dietary requirement or mobility limitation that may be relevant to your participation. We will treat that information confidentially. We may decline or withdraw a booking where we reasonably believe participation would put your safety, or the safety of the group, at risk. If in doubt, consult your doctor before booking.

Assumption of risk.
Outdoor and remote-location activities carry inherent risks that cannot be eliminated. By participating, you accept those risks and agree to follow all safety instructions given by us, our facilitators, guides or venue partners.

Your belongings.
You are responsible for your own possessions throughout. We are not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal property.

Accommodation and third-party suppliers.
Venues, accommodation providers, transport operators, guides and caterers are independent third parties. While we select them with care, we act as a coordinator and are not liable for their acts or omissions.

Changes by us.
We may need to change the venue, dates, itinerary, facilitators or programme content. Where a change is material, we will tell you as soon as we reasonably can and set out the options available to you.

Cancellation by us.
If we cancel an event, our liability is limited to a refund or credit of the fees you have paid to us. We are not liable for flights, accommodation booked independently, visa costs, insurance premiums or other consequential expenses.

Minimum numbers.
Some events require a minimum number of participants to run. Where we cancel for this reason, we will tell you as early as we can.

8. Conduct and confidentiality

Our programmes work because participants feel safe to be honest with each other. That depends on everyone holding the same standards.

  • Treat facilitators, participants, staff and venue teams with respect.

  • What is shared by other participants in a session, retreat or community space stays there. Do not repeat, publish or share another participant’s personal disclosures outside the group.

  • Do not record, photograph or livestream any session without our express prior consent.

  • Harassment, discrimination, threatening behaviour, intoxication that affects the group, or damage to property will result in removal from the programme or event without refund. Where this happens at a residential retreat, you are responsible for your own onward travel and accommodation costs.

  • We may remove content from, or restrict access to, our community platform where it breaches these standards.

9. The nature of our work

Thought Labs delivers training, education, coaching and facilitation. We do not provide medical, psychiatric, psychological or therapeutic treatment, and nothing we offer is a substitute for it.

  • Our programmes are not therapy, counselling or medical care, and our facilitators and coaches are not acting as medical or mental health professionals.
  • If you are currently receiving treatment for a physical or mental health condition, please discuss participation with your treating professional before enrolling, and tell us at the point of booking.

  • Nothing on this Website or in our materials should be taken as medical advice or as a diagnosis.

  • You remain responsible for your own decisions, actions and outcomes. Coaching and training work through your own participation, and results vary from person to person.

Results. We make no guarantee of any specific personal, professional, financial or business outcome from participation in any programme. Testimonials, case studies and examples shared on this Website describe individual experiences and are not a promise of comparable results.

10. Certification

Where a programme leads to a certification:

  • Certification is awarded on completion of the stated attendance, assessment and competency requirements. Payment alone does not entitle you to certification.
  • We may withhold certification where those requirements have not been met, and may set out what is needed to complete them.

  • Certification confirms completion of a Thought Labs programme to the standard stated. It does not constitute a licence to practise, a medical or psychological qualification, or a guarantee of professional registration in any jurisdiction.
  • Where a certification is issued or recognised in association with a professional body, that body’s own criteria, membership requirements and fees apply and are outside our control.

  • You may describe yourself using the exact certification title awarded. You may not represent yourself as a Thought Labs trainer, assessor, faculty member or partner, or deliver Thought Labs programmes, without a separate written licensing agreement with us.

  • We may revoke certification in cases of serious professional misconduct, misrepresentation of your qualification, or breach of these terms.

11. Intellectual property and use of materials

All course manuals, workbooks, slides, recordings, audio, video, exercises, models, frameworks, session content, community content and other materials provided by Thought Labs remain our intellectual property, or that of our licensors and contributing trainers.

Your licence.
On payment, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use those materials for your own learning and, where the programme is designed for it, in your own practice with your own clients.

You may not:

  • – Copy, reproduce, redistribute, sell, licence, publish or upload our materials, in whole or part, to any platform or third party
  • – Record, screenshot, transcribe or download session content except where we have expressly enabled it
  • – Use our materials, models or content to create, deliver or market a competing training or certification programme
  • – Use our content to train, fine-tune or build any artificial intelligence or machine learning system
  • – Remove or alter any copyright, trademark or attribution notice

– Certain models, techniques and frameworks taught within our programmes originate with their own authors and are attributed accordingly within the materials. Attribution must be preserved in any permitted use.

Breach of this section may result in immediate termination of access without refund, and we reserve all rights and remedies available to us.

12. Recording, photography and media

We record many of our online sessions for the benefit of participants who cannot attend live. Where a session is recorded, we will tell you.

  • By participating in a recorded session, you consent to your voice, image, name and contributions being captured and made available to other participants in that programme or membership.
  • We may take photographs and video at retreats and in-person events for use in our marketing, on our website and on social media. If you would prefer not to appear, tell us at the start of the event and we will respect that.

  • You may not record, share or republish any session recording.

13. Organisational and corporate engagements

Work delivered for organisations — training, facilitation, leadership development and consulting — is governed by a separate written agreement, proposal or statement of work. Where such an agreement exists, its terms take precedence over these terms in respect of that engagement.

14. Third-party platforms

We deliver our services using third-party platforms including, among others, learning management systems, video conferencing, community software, email service providers and payment gateways. Your use of those platforms is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability, security or performance.

15. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Our services and this Website are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the Website or any platform will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.
  • We exclude all implied warranties, conditions and terms to the extent permitted by law.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of this Website or participation in any programme or event.

  • Our total aggregate liability to you in connection with any programme, event, membership or service is limited to the amount you have actually paid to us in respect of that programme, event, membership or service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Thought Labs, its directors, employees, facilitators, trainers and partners against any claim, loss, liability, cost or expense arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of our materials, or your use of what you learn with your own clients or within your own organisation.

17. Force majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where that failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disaster, extreme weather, epidemic or pandemic, war, civil unrest, terrorism, government action, border or travel restriction, strike, venue closure, or failure of transport, power or telecommunications networks.

Where such an event affects a programme or retreat, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule, relocate or move delivery online, and will set out the options available to you at that time.

18. Data protection

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Health and dietary information disclosed for the purposes of a retreat is treated as confidential and shared only with those who need it to keep you safe and well cared for.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the version that applies, and the “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. Where a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active members and enrolled participants. Continued use of the Website or our services after a change means you accept the updated terms.

20. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or with your use of this Website or our services, are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer resident outside India, this does not remove any protection available to you under the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.

21. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
